Revive is a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental space for women who struggle with substance use, abuse, and/or may have experienced sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Strategically located in the neighborhood where we have an ongoing outreach to vulnerable women, the center has open hours on some afternoons with programming offered during the mornings and occasional evenings (please call 603-854-8968 for current hours and information). Case management is available by appointment as requested.

At the center, we offer coffee, cold drinks and snacks as well as gift bags filled with personal care items. Women who visit can enjoy a peaceful break, rest or watch a movie. Creative activities such as painting, jewelry making, and various craft projects provide an opportunity for creative expression and relaxation as well as a means of fostering connections and building relationships.

Many of the women we see are struggling with life controlling issues and have had their trust violated. Our trained staff work to build rapport with a trauma-informed approach. We offer assistance in connecting to existing support services and resources as well as program referrals, providing transportation when needed. Specifically designed programming is available as requested for women who are interested and ready to participate including:

Out of Darkness

This Bible study, written by our CEO, Kristie McKenney, walks participants through the different struggles that many women who have been sexually abused and exploited deal with: shame, distrust, body image, powerlessness and more. In a safe, supportive small group, women can discover what Jesus has to say about all of these things and the incredible impact that can have on your healing and your life.

Seeking Safety

The focus of this program is learning self-awareness and building coping skills for women struggling with substance misuse, anxiety and trauma. The sessions equip participants to recognize triggers, learn calming exercises, make positive choices and build healthy relationships. Each week a specific goal is explored and practiced as progress is encouraged toward stabilization.

Roadmap to Redemption

Through this faith-based workbook, survivor Rebecca Bender shares her personal testimony dispelling the myths, exposing the lies and revealing the truth about being a victim of sex trafficking. This class focuses on healing and wholeness, encouraging participants to face their own struggles and dive deeper into their faith.

Ending the Game

This class is designed to educate and empower survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking by providing a framework to uncover and recognize harmful psychological coercion - manipulation, isolation and control tactics. Topics covered include: changing negative thought patterns, creating and choosing healthy options, and how to grow and flourish in life, relationships and their faith journey.

At Revive, women learn they are strong, capable, and worthy. They begin to see a future with renewed hopes and dreams, empowered and supported as they set and achieve their goals. This could be moving from homelessness to help in securing an apartment, support in their recovery, reunification with their child(ren), or finding employment. In an atmosphere of safety and acceptance, with the encouragement of their peers and staff who value them, women are finding that their lives can truly be revived.

“Revive is pure love, it’s comfort, it’s support, it’s friendship, hope and most of all faith. All of these things are things I’ve come to realize I need in my life to be healthy. It’s very important to me to have my Wednesdays with the ladies and I couldn’t have grown or changed for the better without Revive. So thank you ”

“Thank you for just being there and listening, for caring and not judging… for believing in me even when I don’t believe in myself”

“When I’m at the center I feel like I matter. I feel like I can be my best self.”
