Programs
Light House
The Light House serves women who are struggling with trauma, substance abuse disorders, mental health disorders, domestic violence, homelessness or other cyclical crisis situations that require stabilization. We serve up to 10 women (and their children) at a time in this 9-to-12-month transitional housing program.
Beacon Walk-In Support Center
We are sad to announce that our Beacon on Brook Street Walk-in Support Center will be closing down. Our last open day will be January 30th as we will be working with our shelter residents on accessing housing.
“For Everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven” Ecclesiastes 3:1
We are sad to announce that our Beacon on Brook Street shelter will be closing down. We are working with all the current women and children on transitioning to permanent housing or other safe opportunities before March 31, 2026.
We will not be taking in any new residents.

Street Outreach
A team of trained volunteers reaches out to those who are vulnerable to exploitation through setting up tables in a local park and walking through the neighborhood, meeting people where they are. We seek to make connections and build relationships through providing drinks and snacks and offering prayer and encouragement, as well as gift bags filled with personal care items, to at-risk women.
